Wine Educator
As we anticipate the opening of our new tasting room we are searching for dedicated individuals who are seeking to turn their passion for wine into a career.
Employment: Full Time, part time
Job Summary: The wine educator is responsible for serving customers. For this hands-on position, applicants should be self-starters with strong people and time management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service to customers. Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, answer any questions they may have, quickly serve them wine and/or food and tender payment
Conduct wine tastings
Expanding of wine knowledge including, but not limited to flavor profiles and talking points of current list along with our pricing guidelines
Ensure that all alcohol beverage control regulations are followed. • Clean, stock and maintain the Tasing Room

Education and Experience Requirements: Work experience should include one or more years as a server in a well-respected full-service restaurant, wine bar or equivalent position in the hospitality industry. Must have a TABC Certification and Food Handlers Permit.
Knowledge and Skills:
Skilled at and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service
Enthusiasm for wine and a desire to learn more about wine
Responsible and reliable
Experienced with and proficient at using Point of Sale systems
18 years of age or older (must be able to taste and evaluate product) • Ability to communicate in English effectively, both orally and in writing • Able to work overtime, occasionally late into the evening and occasional events • Able to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50+ pounds
Schedule Requirements: Able to work weekends
Compensation: Highly Competitive compensation package based on experience and performance
Tasting room host

Job Summary: The Tasting room host is responsible for greeting and escorting customers. applicants should be of a multi-tasking mindset with strong people and time management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome guests to the venue
Manage reservations
Escort customers to personal table or correct tasting area
Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
Maintain an organized persona and/or clean reception area
Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
Assist wait staff as needed

Education and Experience Requirements: Work experience should include one or more years as a host or server in a well respected, full-service restaurant, wine bar or equivalent position in the hospitality industry. Should have or agree to obtain by start date a TABC Certification and Food Handlers Permit.
Knowledge and Skills:
Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress
Understanding of restaurant etiquette
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Experience in managing reservations
Demonstrable customer-service skills
Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
Strong organizational skills
Availability to work in shifts as needed
Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift • Able to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50+ pounds
Schedule Requirements: Able to work weekends; beginning part-time with potential to grow.
